Tim Burton goes MAD in Alice in Wonderland.

Yay! Disney has launched a new magazine especially for corporate-themed psychotics! It’s hiply called D23, and as Disney (D?) describes it, it’s great if “one of your favorite pastimes is wishing upon a star,” or for anyone whose “favorite walk is down Main Street, U.S.A.” Well, I’m not sure my favorite walk is down Main Street (I have too many “favorite walks” to definitively order my “favorite walks”), but I do consider reenacting a line in a Pinocchio song to be one of my hobbies, so D23 sounds pretty perfect for me.

The inaugural issue features an article entitled “Through Tim Burton’s Looking Glass,” which looks at the director’s newest project, Alice in Wonderland, and his relationship with Disney. The Tim Burton Collective has kindly scanned it for you.

2012 movie trailer.

Few people have destroyed the world more than Roland Emmerich. In his megahit “Independence Day,” aliens laid waste to pretty much every metropolitan center on the planet, and in his eco-thriller “The Day After Tomorrow,” much of the northern hemisphere finds itself buried under ice. In his third crack at presenting the apocalypse, this fall’s “2012,” Emmerich taps into the angst of thousands of astrologers, doomsday enthusiasts, and conspiracy theorists who fear that a massive cataclysm will strike the earth on December 21 of that year. Yet unlike previous dates tied to the Earth’s expiration, this one has its roots in various sources throughout history including interpretations of the Mayan calendar, astrology, and the ancient Chinese fortune-telling text the “I-Ching.”

Ill be waiting for this movie. I bet this is one is good :)

Prototype Nokia phone recharges without wires!

Pardon the cliche, but it’s one of the holiest of Holy Grails of technology: Wireless power. And while early lab experiments have been able to “beam” electricity a few feet to power a light bulb, the day when our laptops and cell phones can charge without having to plug them in to a wall socket still seems decades in the future.

Nokia, however, has taken another baby step in that direction with the invention of a cell phone that recharges itself using a unique system: It harvests ambient radio waves from the air, and turns that energy into usable power. Enough, at least, to keep a cell phone from running out of juice.

First Day of School!

Nyaw. Just got home. Another First Day thingy has done. Woo Hoo! Im glad some of my last year classmates still my classmate this year. Well, some of them are neew. 2nd day tomorrow and im gonna get to know them moree! Haha. By the waay… My Class Moderator were popular at our school! (because he’s sooooo damn handsome and hot as hell!) Named Mr.Danny, but i called him “hanny” haha! JK! LMAO! i would be gay if i do that! anyways, got to go. Im still with mah friends. Gonna grab some lunch! Buh-Bye!
